Tab-e Ayneh

Overview

The memories and sorrows of an Iranian pharmacist: the story of the life, work and times of Gholamali Obeidi, told through the notes and documents left behind by a persistent, ambitious, patriotic man who was never content unless he was at the top. Perhaps the film is itself the story of Iran, a moment when history is made rather than retold.
