The Bond Stories: Connecting Hearts

Overview

Set across Japan's Tohoku region, five interconnected themes of love, friendship, grief and human resilience come to life in an anthology inspired by more than 14,000 real-life stories shared through an online community. A widower struggles with guilt and loss, two childhood friends revisit memories of the 2011 earthquake, a divorced woman confronts prejudice during the pandemic, a comedian grieves for his former partner, and an aspiring singer returns home after abandoning her dream.
