Biography

García JC (Juan Carlos García) is a Peruvian director making his feature debut with 1982 (2025), a drama about a 12-year-old boy whose father is accused of terrorism during Peru's Internal Armed Conflict. The film premiered at the 29th Lima Film Festival in August 2025 and was filmed in Andahuaylas, Apurímac.
