Julian Wonn

Biography

Born in 1996 in Saarland; moved to the Cologne area in 2004. Made his first short films while in high school; subsequently trained as a media designer for image and sound; won his first festival award in Monheim am Rhein. Moved to Berlin, supported from STEP – Hessen Filmförderung and AG Kurzfilm. Has worked on productions for Netflix, Apple TV+, Paramount+, ZDF, ZDFneo, and ARD, among others. In 2023, served as a directing assistant to Rosa von Praunheim; studies directing since October 2024.
