Martina Plura

Biography

Martina Plura is a German film director. She began making her first films at a young age, together with her twin sister, Monika. After graduating from high school in Neuwied, she studied Media Arts at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne; she subsequently spent a year abroad at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión in Cuba, where she also produced her documentary *Cuba Libre*.
