Biography

Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, Mónica Monserrate Llenza began her career in the early stages of her life. In summer 1993, she was attending the Fine Arts School of the University of Puerto Rico when she was awarded a scholarship to study cinematography at the prestigious Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV (EICTV) in San Antonio de los Baños, Havana, CUBA.
