Biography

He was born on November 23 (December 6) 1909 (according to other sources, December 1 or 1899) in the village of Chaek (according to other sources, in the villages of Kairma or Karoy) (now in the Jumgal district of Naryn region, Kyrgyzstan) into a poor peasant family.
