Nathan Montalvo

Biography

Nathan Montalvo (born May 23, 2001) is a Puerto Rican writer, director, and cinematographer best known for his work on Just Friends (2026) and the Diversity in Cannes-selected short film, A Seat at the Table (2025). He is the founder of New Mountain Pictures, an independent film production company based in Portland, Oregon that focuses on subversive creativity and telling stories that are simultaneously poignant and entertaining.
