Subashini Balasubramaniam (also known by her stage name Shaashvi Bala or Shashipala) was a 36-year-old Tamil television and film actress of Sri Lankan origin who tragically passed away on April 6, 2026, in Chennai, India.She was widely recognized by household audiences for her prominent role as the antagonist, Deepika, in the highly popular Sun TV serial Kayal.
