Biography

Trần Tấn Hậu (2 July 1933 - 28 November 1992), best known by his stage name Y Vân, was a Vietnamese composer, songwriter and musician. Rising to prominence in the late 1950s with disco-influenced tracks and slow rock ballads, he was a pivotal figure in shaping the sounds of modern Vietnamese light pop music and the flourishing pop culture of South Vietnam.
